Henzman’s public words and actions show a sharp critique of Trump and MAGA politics. In a May 5 statement, she called social-media bans inadequate accountability for January 6; in 2022, she rejected the idea that “Trump country” should limit Democratic outreach; and in 2025, she organized a Michigan City protest. An anonymous anti-MAGA sign in a separate photo cannot be assigned to her.

Angela Henzman posted that a Facebook ban was “not enough” accountability for January 6, said she did not care if an area was “Trump country” during a party-outreach push, and organized a February 2025 Michigan City protest against the presidential administration.

Henzman called a Facebook ban inadequate accountability

Henzman posted a May 5 statement headlined “Facebook Ban is not enough.” She argued that Facebook and Twitter were the only entities holding Trump accountable for January 6 and called for more serious consequences for those responsible. The image shows May 5 but not a year.

Henzman organized a Michigan City protest

The Herald-Dispatch reported that Henzman organized Michigan City’s “Not My President’s Day” protest in February 2025. At the event, she spoke about what she described as an attack on voters’ rights, placing her publicly in opposition to the presidential administration.

Her remarks on “Trump country” and inclusion

In December 2022, Henzman said, “I don’t care if it’s Trump country,” while urging Democratic outreach across south county, LaPorte, and Michigan City. In May 2024, she said that as chair her goal was to include people who had felt excluded. Together, the remarks describe a countywide organizing approach rather than a retreat from areas that favor Trump.

Anonymous anti-MAGA sign was not Henzman’s statement

A page-13 photo shows an unidentified person holding a sign that reads “MAGA MORONS ARE GOVERNING AMERICA” and “They do NOT speak for ME!” The sign criticizes MAGA governance, but the image does not identify its holder, author, or connection to Henzman.

Her August 26 caption accused the administration of building a dictatorship

Henzman’s expanded August 26, 2025 caption criticized National Guard deployments, redistricting, restrictions on constitutional rights, and what she called “the Cruel Oligarchy Dictatorship that is being constructed right before our very eyes.” She ended: “Our Country is burning, and you are worried about the optics.”

The same caption demanded justice for Epstein’s victims and charges against “ANY high profile, rich, or influential person, NO MATTER the party affiliation!” Her demand in this passage was explicitly across party lines.
